History
The Professional Insurance Agents Association for Nebraska & Iowa (PIA) is a membership-based professional trade association representing Nebraska and Iowa' s independent insurance agents and their employees. PIA's members sell and service all types of insurance, but most specialize in coverage of automobiles, homes, businesses, and farms.
Founded in 1948 and headquartered in Omaha, NE, PIA Association for Nebraska & Iowa is affiliated with the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents, located in Alexandria, Virginia. National PIA was founded in 1931 to represent professional, independent property/casualty insurance agents. Membership in PIA Association for Nebraska & Iowa carries with it automatic membership in National PIA.
PIA Association for Nebraska & Iowa' s mission is to promote the prosperity, growth and the perpetuation of our members as professionals in the Nebraska and Iowa insurance industry.
